Committee Members

If you would like to become a committee member, you will attend meetings to vote on issues and give us ideas and help us decide how to spend the money that we have raised; and you can volunteer for your favourite events!  We try to schedule meetings to suit everyone - so come and join us.

Officers

The following Officers are the point of contact between the Senior Leadership team and the parents.

Chairperson

Tanya Bell (elected October 2021 - previously Treasuerer November 2018 to October 2021) co-ordinates events and is the main point of contact for all queries and volunteers. Treasurer

Carl Harvey (elected October 2022) controls budgets and produces end of year financial reports.​​​​​​​

Secretary

Charlene Ives (elected October 2021 - previously Chairperson November 2018 - October 2021) produces agendas, minutes. ​​​​​​​

Events Coordinator

Sarah Wilock (elected October 2022) helps Tanya organise and run the events.  If you have any ideas of any events that you would like us to run we are always open to new ideas. Email friendsofleatherheadtrinity@gmail.com.

Social Media

Nicola Smith (elected October 2022) helps to keep all our social media up to date so you all know what is happening.

Class WhatsApp Reps

In each class we need at least one parent who can help The Friends run the Class WhatsApp Groups.  Their role is to be the main link between The Friends, the parents of that class and the teacher. They are needed to help remind parents of our upcoming events and may be asked to help recruit other parents when helpers are needed at events.  These groups are also used to help parents keep up to date with other events that are happening at the school and to ask questions if you are uncertain about something.  If the reps don't know the answer then they ask the FOLT team who can find the answer out for them. If you would like to be one of our Class Reps or join your Class WhatsApp group please get in touch.​​​​​​​

Happy Helpers

We have a group of happy helpers who help us run our different events, without them these events would not be able to go ahead but we would love more people to help us.  ​​​​​​​

It makes events run well and makes them more fun for everyone involved, the more people we have helping the less we all have to do.
